Principle of Test
The HUMPHREY visual field test uses a computer-controlled program to project light spots at different positions and tests whether the patient can see these light spots.
By comparing the results with the normal visual field range, the examination can reveal areas of visual field loss or abnormalities in patients.
Test Process: 30 minutes
Importance of Test
HUMPHREY視野檢查能夠及早發現患者的視覺問題，對於診斷和治療眼科疾病至關重要。檢查適用於各種眼科疾病，例如青光眼、視網膜病變、黃斑點病變、視神經病變等。檢查結果有助於醫生制定合適的治療方案，以保護患者的視力和眼睛健康。
HUMPHREY視野檢查亦可用於評估大腦異常，例如腦腫瘤、神經退化性疾病等。視野受到大腦視覺系統的控制，當大腦視覺路徑受到損傷時，可能會出現視野缺損。
